Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver -Flexible Schedule

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care to individuals with varying needs. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients with daily living activities. Ideal candidates have experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings and a genuine passion for serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs per care plans
• Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Safely operate assistive devices and medical equipment, including Hoyer lifts
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to healthcare professionals
• Accompany clients to appointments or community activities to encourage independence and engagement
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification strongly preferred; HIPAA training is a plus
• Ability to safely assist clients with physical care and lifting when required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability and reliable transportation preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
