What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maintenance position at Senior Services Plus?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Home Repair Lead, the Facility Maintenance staff is responsible for working to ensure all jobs related to the upkeep and maintenance of the facility are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. This includes utilizing the “planner” and working with all staff on their maintenance requests (requests may include painting, assembly of items, building repair needs – plumbing and electrical, etc., as well as some grounds keeping). This position is also responsible for all custodial duties within the facility, including all restrooms, floors, windows, blinds, equipment, etc., and ordering and maintaining all needed supplies. This position would also be the liaison for the custodial staff member.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
*Daily, weekly, monthly custodial duties
*Maintaining a repair and maintenance log for equipment used
*Ordering and inventorying cleaning and maintenance supplies
*Prioritizing job requests submitted through “Planner”
*Following up with other custodial staff to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and on time
*Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma
· Must have effective communication and organizational skills.
· 3 years' experience with custodial duties and facilities maintenance
· Ability to prioritize duties as well as able to pivot between tasks
