Sentry Bank is looking to hire a part-time teller to work at our St. Cloud Downtown Branch.
We are in need of someone who can work both the opening (starting at 7:20am) and closing shifts (until 5: 30pm) Monday-Friday. Saturday mornings, 8am-12pm, 2-3/month. *Saturdays shifts are 1.5x pay!
Summary
Bank tellers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient transaction processing.
Essential Functions
- Receive checking and saving deposits and withdrawals, verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts
- Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements and complete hold notices
- Answer basic customer inquiries regarding account information, while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies
- Issue cashier’s checks
- Accept loan payments, verify payment amount and issue receipts
- Work at other Sentry Bank locations, if needed
- Follow all bank policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous banking experience a plus!
- Customer service & cash handling experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to engage customers, begin a conversation, build rapport, and resolve issues
- Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy and efficiency
