Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:
Provide sound business solutions to company leaders in order to drive operational efficiencies and support strategic initiatives. Partnering with the CFO to provide vision and strategy for financial analysis, this role will collaborate with leadership and operations to manage and extract relevant data, create reports and data visualizations and monitor success targets based on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
• Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets
• Develop, implement, and maintain analytics processes and systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and benchmarking
• Prepare and present reports on financial performance, including variance analysis and key metrics
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes by providing detailed financial analysis and reconciliations as needed
• Report, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and reporting as requested
• Collaborate with the Data Governance and Data Strategies teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Work directly with leaders and end-users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
• Work closely with project owners as a strong business advisor by seeking to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
• Assist the CFO in the development and implementation of data analytics tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and work with leaders to develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and accounting
