What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Officer position at Service First Federal Credit Union?
Service First is looking for a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interview applicants to determine eligibility for real estate financing, which includes collecting and analyzing income, assets, debt, and creditworthiness. Determine which loan option best fits the customer’s needs. Input applicable information into Encompass. Maintain correspondence with borrowers, processors, and realtors to ensure a successful loan closing.
- Establish relationships with realtors, builders, and related industry businesses.
- Develop and expand customer relationships through referrals to other banking departments.
- Have knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulations related to Credit Union operations and perform duties in accordance with these regulations. Successful execution of all compliance responsibilities as required to effectively completing all specific job duties.
