What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Crew Chief position at SERVPRO of Lake County?

Shift: This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and with rotating on-call schedules that consist of evenings and weekends.
Pay: $15-$20/hour, depending on experience
Position Responsibilities:
· Facilitate a positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction of services.
· Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and supervise their activities.
· Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
· Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
· Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
· Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
· Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· WRT Certified
· ASD Certified is preferred, but not required
· Have a High School Diploma/GED
· Can successfully pass a Level 1 and Level 2 Background Check.
· Have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (as you will operate company vehicles).
Abilities and Physical Demands of Job:
· Be able to work unsupervised, and accomplish the daily tasks set forth.
· Wanting to learn and grow into a leader in our field.
· Strong verbal communication skills
· Can lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and can sit/walk/stand for long periods of time
· Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
· Can work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work with and around chemicals.
· Might be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions and occasionally wear a respirator for safety purposes.
· Able to be on rotating on-call schedules for weekends and nights.
