With a wide array of product offerings from high pressure, high volume trailer and truck-mounted sewer jetters, combination sewer cleaners, to rodders, bucket machines and easement machines, we have the equipment to help get the job done right the first time.
About the Role:
We are looking for employees who can perform quality work and meet deadlines with or without direct supervision. They will need to interact professionally with other employees and customers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and drafting of new and revised components using AutoCAD and 3D AutoDesk Inventor
- Create 3D models of components and machines using sound engineering judgment necessary to ensure proper fit and function of the designs
- Perform the analysis necessary to help define the most efficient design in terms of weight, durability and cost effectiveness
- Complete detail part drawings for new and old designs and processes
- Be responsible for sending out new product releases and Engineering Change Notice’s to production, purchasing and outside vendors
- Will work closely with all departments in the company as well as outside vendors
- Must be able to manage projects from beginning to end
Location & Commitments:
- Permanent full-time role based in Dixon, IL
- Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred 3-5 years of in field engineering experience
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Strong knowledge of material and manufacturing processes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Work independently and as part of the team
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Meet deadlines and commitments
- Must be able to manage projects form beginning to end
- Highly motivated, detail oriented and organized
- 18 Years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with the latest releases of AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor programs
- Experience with finite element analysis
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
