Job Title: Epic Analyst (Mid-Level)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Duration: 12-18 Months (Contract)
Required - US Citizen (with w2)
2 Positions – Hybrid (local to Pittsburgh, PA within 50 miles)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Epic Analyst to support ongoing Epic application operations and implementation initiatives for our healthcare client. The analyst will focus on system maintenance, incident resolution, and service request fulfillment while partnering with senior analysts and full-time staff on new Epic build and implementation work. This role requires solid hands-on Epic configuration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently within an established Epic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for Epic applications, including maintenance, incident, and service request management
- Perform Epic build, configuration, and optimization within the supported module
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and performance
- Collaborate with senior Epic analysts and full-time staff supporting new Epic implementations or enhancements
- Participate in system testing, validation, and documentation activities
- Work with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with Epic standards, change management processes, and organizational policies
Required Qualifications:
- Epic Certification or Accreditation in the supported Epic module (required)
- 2–5 years of hands-on Epic build experience within the supported module
- Proven experience supporting Epic in a production environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or large-scale enhancements
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows (clinical, revenue cycle, or operational)
- Experience working with ITSM/ticketing systems
