Job Description:
We are seeking a Skilled Network Administrator with a strong focus on firewall administration, specifically experienced in Palo Alto Networks platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and optimization of next-generation firewall (NGFW) environments across our enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks firewall policies, security profiles, and threat prevention features
- Provide ongoing operational support including rule set audits, software updates, log analysis, and incident response
- Contribute to network security projects including segmentation and VPN deployments
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance, visibility, and adherence to corporate security policies
- Monitor network security infrastructure proactively and recommend improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administering and supporting Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and NGFW technologies
- Familiarity with rule audits, threat detection/prevention, and security monitoring tools
- Experience working in hybrid network environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional IT and security teams
