Customer Service Phone Agent- Full Time

**This is an in-office position located at our Company Headquarters in Midlothian, VA.**

Days/Hours Required: 40 per week and overtime as needed

Compensation: 16.00

Job Summary

Shades of Light is looking for a multi-talented customer service agent to join our growing team for our January Training Class! We have a high-volume, fast-paced customer service center and are looking for talented committed individuals that can step up to provide world-class service while maintaining excellent business acumen.

Job Requirements/Expectations:

  • Provide accurate and satisfactory answers to customer queries and concerns.
  • Take upwards of 50 calls a day.
  • Email and provide follow ups with vendors, distributors, and other outside resources.
  • Assist customers by phone placing orders, selecting products, researching and answering product questions, processing returns, and handling damaged/ defective product claims
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting/navigating the company site.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to provide the highest level of customer service possible.
  • Meet personal/team objectives and metrics.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
  • Some college preferred
  • 1 year of Call Center experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
