Exciting Opportunities with Share Food Program! We are looking for an Executive Assistant to add to our team!
Share Food Program (“Share”) is the largest-serving hunger relief organization in the Philadelphia region, and one of the largest independent food banks in the nation. Before the Covid-19 crisis began, Share distributed food to 700,000 neighbors in need each month, 36% of whom were children, and 12% of whom were seniors. The need has risen sharply since early 2020—Share now serves more than 1 million each month.
The Executive Assistant to the Executive Director is responsible for managing the administrative duties of the Executive Director and executive office. The primary responsibilities will include managing the Executive Director’s schedule and any other organizational needs, managing the front office, and answering phone calls and emails directed to the organization.

- Manage Executive Director’s schedule, emails, and phone calls as needed
- Run front office of Share Food Program, including receiving phone calls, correspondence, and emails
- Provide Executive Director with necessary information and materials for meetings and events
- Support other Share Food leadership and staff as needed and assigned by Executive Director
- Communicate with partner organizations and external stakeholders
- Track communications with funders and ensure timely follow-up
- Administrative duties as required
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Extremely well organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on nights and weekends as needed
Experience
- Experience in an office environment
- Experience managing the schedule, calls, and emails of an executive leader
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 per year
