What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead Gun Barrel Manufacturer position at Shilen Rifles, Inc?
This is NOT a remote position and does require daily attendance. We are looking to hire at least 1 person full time. We are a company that works with and builds firearms; if you have a criminal record we may not be able to hire you.
For FULL-TIME employees, benefits will be offered after 90 days. The schedule is 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Rate of pay $16-$23/hour depending on experience.
Team Lead Position Available
Team Lead will learn to set up, operate, and tear down gundrills, lathes, and reamers to be able to monitor and maintain production schedule. Producing products that compete at a World Championship level, candidate will be responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and tuning processes as needed. Lead will also know how to measure, inspect, and verify products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous machining, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail preferred
- CNC machining and/or lathe knowledge is beneficial.
- Team Lead: $16–$23 per hour
- Hourly positions, currently working 50 hours per week with anything over 40 hours being time and a half.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
