Shipt Shoppers handpick everything from fresh groceries to household essentials, then deliver them to your door in as little as one hour. Develop a strong understanding of merchandising best practices and how to apply them to the Shipt marketplace. Understand our members, their motivations, and use this knowledge to create innovative, engaging features and promotions that drive sales. Identify and monitor our competitors’ practices and develop ways for us to improve and differentiate. Build relationships and work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams at Shipt including Product, Catalog, Partner Success, Marketing, Engineering, and more. Be a champion of process. Given the cross-functional nature of our team, our primary project management tool (Wrike) is essential for smooth communication and execution of initiatives. Ensure that all tasks are created, updated, and completed in a timely manner. Find opportunities to improve internal and external communication and implement them, especially for projects that include teams that don’t use Wrike. Responsible for all things execution from building out product lists for merchandising Campaigns to overseeing the creation of creative assets. Updating and maintaining campaign planning docs to facilitate smooth communication with all teams, ensuring that the placements tracker is up to date, that placements on homepage and within the browse experience are organized as planned. Assess the performance through data analysis of various merchandising initiatives including category and product promotions, taxonomy enhancements, etc. on a weekly and ad hoc basis and creating actionable recommendations. About you: Creative and innovative problem solver Possess and demonstrate the ability to navigate a wide spectrum of product lines Extremely detail-oriented and organized Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Flexible and adaptable. You are equally as comfortable spending your day in spreadsheets as you are collaborating with others. Familiar with the dynamics of a fast-paced (and fast-growing) company, and the importance of clear communication. Strong work ethic and sense of urgency. You can easily manage competing priorities and short deadlines. Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively. Ability to think quickly on your feet, adapt to a highly variable environment, change scope and focus with ease. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Business, Merchandising, Marketing is a plus) 2 years of work experience Retail experience is highly preferred. Experience and familiarity with the grocery/delivery industry are a bonus.
