Shodair is searching for a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) to join our amazing School Based Services team at Bryant Elementary! Behavioral Intervention Specialists provide direct care, supervision, monitoring, and interaction to students in a school-based setting in partnership with the CSCT therapist.
The ideal Behavioral Intervention Specialist candidate is someone who:
- Passionate about mental health
- Enjoys teaching social skills and emotional regulation
- Able to work with patients of all different backgrounds
- Can be a role model to students and provide individualized care
- Excited about serving Montana’s youth!

Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a related field is preferred however a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working with SED youth will also be considered.
- Criminal Records Background Check, Statement of Health, and drug test required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
- Successful completion of Medication Aide training upon hire.
