What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Shoppa's Material Handling?
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling all products and services Shoppa’s Material Handling offers. This individual will be a consultant to our customers with the responsibility of recommending solutions, providing quotes, fulfilling orders and resolving customer issues. Requires a very ambitious professional who will build relationships, provide excellent customer service, promote the company and the various products and services. The Inside Sales Rep will drive sales growth and exceed annual goals by aggressive telephone marketing to new and previous customers, develop and apply strategies necessary to obtain orders and keeping current on market trends. This opportunity represents Shoppa’s Material Handling and requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, great attitude, high level of confidentiality and world class customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote Shoppa’s and all the products and services we offer to the customer
- Cold calling prospects, previous customers and overcoming objections
- Quote equipment, document, and process orders for fulfilment
- Provide product and pricing support to Sales team and/or new customers
- Identify and profile prospective customers, develop and apply strategy necessary to obtain orders
- Analyze the current market trends to better serve our markets
- Obtain sales goals and objectives established by leadership
- Provide same-day follow-up on all company provided leads and client requests
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports for management
- Develop new promotions and incentives to support customer base
- Utilize and update all inside sales activities with the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
- Digital Marketing- online website postings
- Continuously expand knowledge on all Shoppa’s products/services/departments and applications
- All other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years’ sales or customer service experience in a heavy industrial equipment, material handling or automotive industry
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentations)
- Power User of Microsoft 365 products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM, MS Navision and quoting software preferred
- Excellent phone skills & a proven closer
- High energy level, team player and positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills and good mechanical aptitude
- Continuous learner with eagerness to develop professionally and learn the business
Special skills- Basic Understanding of shipping and accounting services, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to utilize Facebook, LinkedIn, Craigslist, and various websites for potential business
