- Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray and ultrasound in a timely manner.
- Perform radiologist assisted procedures (VCUG, contrast enemas, cystogram) in a timely manner.
- Serve as radiology medical director and radiation safety officer for the hospital
- Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician
- Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders
- Work exclusively in pediatric imaging with no interventional responsibilities.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school required.
- Successful completion of a residency in diagnostic or general radiology required.
- Board eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology with additional fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology required. Board eligible or certified in pediatric radiology highly preferred.
- Must possess or be eligible for CA medical licensure, in addition to their state of residency.
