(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a Senior Construction Inspector to support REI Services for a NYCDDC water main project located in Queens, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring contractor’s work
- Ensuring construction is as per the plans and specifications
- Preparing daily reports
- Assisting Office Engineer as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification & Skills:
- 12 years of REI/CM experience on infrastructure projects
- 8 years of experience working on NYCDDC projects preferred
- Water main experience required
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or active NICET IV certification required
- DDC Water Main Inspection Certification Card required
- OSHA 30
Expected salary range is $90,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
