Beer Ambassador

Be a beer ambassador at our local brewery. We don’t take this lightly—it’s a big responsibility to sell this precious liquid. We need someone robust, someone with a large and in charge personality who wants to show the world the beauty of beer. In all seriousness, this job requires you to go outside the brewery, meet people, build partnerships, manage deliveries, and hustle. You will be working to manage and grow our business, after all. Essential Functions

• Build strong partnerships with key on and off premise accounts
• Achieve sales distribution goals
• Participate in events/promotions/festivals
• Create and monitor expense and event budgets
• Manage orders and deliveries from cradle to grave
• May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes
• Employee may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by their supervisor

Qualifications

• Self-starter and craft beer aficionado
• At least two years of experience in a customer facing sales role in the food and beverage industry
• Clean motor vehicle registration and driving record
• Strong communication skills - both in person, in writing, and over the phone
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an exciting, fast-paced, and ever-changing landscape
• Basic familiarity with office productivity software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Performance Requirements

• Must be able to operate a computer and other position related technologies
• Must be able to clearly communicate with TruWest employees, customers, and other stakeholders
• Driving may also include transportation of material
• Must adhere to all TruWest Values at all times

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to access work locations
• Must be able to stoop, stand, walk, bend, and stay upright to perform work
• Must be able to visually read written and digital information
• Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication
• Must be able to frequently move equipment, including kegs, weighing up to 50 pounds across locations
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
• Travel required 90% of the time. Must be able to constantly drive to varying work environments including base office, existing and potential customer sites, and event sites
