The impact you will have:
As a Wood Mill Equipment Operator for Sierra Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience.
If you are passionate about making a difference, impacting mill operations efficiencies, partnering with our warehouse teams, and ensuring products are distributed safely – this opportunity may be the right fit for you.
What you will do:
- Set up and operate wood milling machinery.
- Monitor machine and make necessary adjustments.
- Able to examine and count lumber for the best cutting yields.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience operating wood milling machinery or any other equipment.
- Ability to lift 75lb .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detailed orientation and excellent hand eye coordination.
- Ability to stand and bend for a long period.
- Bilingual in Spanish is an asset.
