What You’ll Own
Oversee all things accounting: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and compliance.
Lead the monthly close and publish timely financial statements.
Prepare regulatory filings and bank reports with precision.
Dive deep into technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
Drive the month-end/year-end close like a pro.
Strengthen internal controls and update policies as we scale.
Collaborate with other departments for smarter business decisions.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA? Even better!).
7 years in a Controller or similar role.
Mastery of GAAP, compliance standards, and closing processes.
Experience with ERP systems like Sage a plus.
A sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
Comfortable leading a small team and wearing multiple hats.
Strong Excel chops and love for process improvement.
Bonus Points If You...
Have experience in manufacturing or automotive environments.
Know your way around dashboards, KPIs, and financial storytelling.
