Job Description

A Production Supervisor at Sika is a professional who oversees operations on their shift. The individual must be able to delegate tasks, resolve problems, and ensure a smooth operation with their assigned team of machine operators. Also, oversight of Cross-functional Teams for improvement projects. This Leadership Development position provides an opportunity for advancement into management with advanced responsibilities in Operations.

• Manage shift production, 12 employee departments, time-off requests, and training
• Assign duties to employees and oversee their development
• Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
• Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed through training
• Handle Employee administrative needs with Human Resources
  
  

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• 5 – 8 years of Supervisory experience with dynamic continues processes
• Knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAP, MRP/ERP experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to be a self-starter with the ability of switching tasks based on production demand
• Strong communication skills – multilingual skills preferred but not required
