SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating compelling written and visual content tailored to various social media platforms, capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos in line with brand messaging, and fostering authentic online community interactions. This role requires a deep understanding of platform best practices, from major networks such as Facebook and Instagram to emerging platforms. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting social media analytics and adjusting strategies accordingly, while collaboration is key for seamless integration with wider team goals. The position also demands adaptability to stay abreast of social media trends and technical proficiency with tools like the Adobe suite for optimal content creation.

OBJECTIVES
● Content Creation: Craft high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for our social media platforms, including copywriting, graphics, and other visual elements.
● Organic Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute organic social media campaigns that align with company goals, promote brand identity, and foster authentic engagement.
● Photography: Utilize professional photography skills to capture compelling images for use across social media and other marketing channels, ensuring visuals consistently represent our brand.
● Videography: Produce captivating video content that tells our brand's story, highlights our products or services, and engages our audience in a dynamic manner.
● Social Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and foster positive interactions on our social media platforms, ensuring timely and appropriate engagement with our audience.
● Analytics & Reporting: Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns, using insights to refine and improve strategies.
● Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, platforms, and best practices to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of social innovation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

● Proven experience in marketing & social media marketing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
● This position will require travel - up to 15%
