Summary/Objective
The Henschel/Blending System Operator is responsible for following work orders and maintaining compound needs of the organization and supporting production of product.

Essential Functions

- Follow production work orders/recipes to mix raw material batches for production
- Utilize mixing/blending equipment and tumblers to weigh and sift all pigments
- Utilize equipment to ensure batches are within tolerance
- Stage all batches to be used on the production line
- Complete daily inventory to verify inventory
- Clean all containers, equipment and working area to prevent contamination
Required Education and Experience
- HS Diploma
- Math/Measurement Skills
- Demonstration of organizational skills, attention to detail, communication

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment with frequent trips to the production floor. This role routinely uses scales, a hand dolly, a forklift, and mixing/blending equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must stand 8-12 hours per day and is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 8-hour shift position, with days/hours of work generally being Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Some daily and/or weekend overtime required.
