Pay: $14.00–$16.00/hour
Location: In-Person (Sioux Falls YMCA)
Schedule:
- Weeknights: Monday–Friday | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Typical days: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday Saturday

🛠️ Position Summary
As a Gym Supervisor, you'll help create a safe, fun, and welcoming space for all youth sports participants. You’ll manage operations during youth basketball programs, ensure smooth transitions between games, and support coaches, players, and families.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Open/close the gym 30 minutes before and after programs
- Set up and operate equipment (scoreboards, clocks, chairs)
- Enforce start/stop times, and YMCA safety policies
- Restore the gym to a clean and orderly condition
- Lock facility doors and turn off lights at the end of your shift
- Record and report game scores to the Program Director
- Maintain positive communication with coaches and players
🧰 Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR certification (Adult, Infant & Child) or willingness to complete within 30 days of hire
- Familiarity with the YMCA Basketball Program, mission and values preferred
💪 Physical & Work Requirements
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, twisting, and climbing
- Periods of standing, walking, and talking with staff and families
- Moderate decision-making and mental effort
