Position Title: Electrician (077)- 3rd Shift
Position Summary:
Plan, Layout and perform work necessary to install, maintain, repair and regulate plant electrical systems and components including motors, controls, generators, transformers, signal systems, etc. Wire complicated circuits; calculate, balance and regulate loads. Repair motors, starters, controls; install and wire centralized control panels; layout and wire distribution centers and circuits; machine tools controls including numerical controlled machines, timing and lighting systems and devices. Diagnose, isolate and correct electrical troubles. Determine materials needed and plan work to utilize to best advantage. Use appropriate test instruments, gear and equipment to test and insure proper operating functioning of circuits, controls, switches, etc. Work under minimum supervision and guidance. May be required to use, maintain and safeguard calibrated certified equipment. Performs all tasks and duties assigned in a safe, timely, highly productive and efficient manner; following all quality procedures and processes where applicable.

Education and Experience:
High school education required; trade school certification highly desirable. Position requires comprehensive knowledge of the theories and practices of complex electrical principles and reactions and electronic devices and systems normally acquired through participation and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program and by attending specialized schools, machine tool and electronic manufacturing classes. Preference in employment, promotions and transfers will be given to those with previous experience, good attendance and work history.
