Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Encourage your team to work in a safe manner at all times, alerting management of hazardous conditions.
Ensure confidentiality of proprietary or sensitive information.
Direct the activities of manufacturing to maximize personnel & equipment resources.
Interface with Supply Chain to determine priority product & communicate changes to floor.
Interface with QC Personnel to maintain acceptable "hit rate" & communicate inspection results to floor.
Analyze product flow & processes to establish the lowest product cost & highest quality.
Support the Preventive Maintenance Program.
Provide technical support for the solution of plant problems.
Support the EPA activities for the facility.
Develop process & product improvements to improve cost, quality & new products.
Provide support for capital projects.
Organize and lead special process teams, as required, to meet business objectives.
Support the SKF drawing control system.
Ensure compliance to ISO/AS and Nadcap requirements.
Maintain production lot traceability, including nonconforming product.
Ensure compliance to the Tooling Control Program.
Provide approval of modifications and in-house manufacturing.
Verify that the product is not processed with uncalibrated thermal equipment or controls.
Approve design of baskets or fixtures for heat treatment.
Ensure confidentiality of proprietary or sensitive information.
Ensure satisfactory levels of cleanliness and housekeeping in all assigned areas.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experienced with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, Calendar, and work-related computer software applications.
Comprehensive communication skills in the English language via electronic communications and in-person.
Diligent in maintaining confidentiality regarding proprietary or sensitive information.
Due to the nature of the business, candidate must be a US Citizen.
