What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Production Assistant position at skilled-care-pharmacy?
This position was created to serve in a supporting role to keep the pharmacy stocked of supplies needed to fill prescriptions. Some job duties include:
- Keeps shelves stocked and free of excess inventory
- Help identify medications in need of re-packaging
- Help identify low inventory levels and communicate with purchasing
- Help identify outdated and slow-moving medications
- Scans pharmacy receipts
- Straightening and cleaning of shelves where inventory is maintained
- Processes pharmacy credit and returns including breakdown of returned blister cards
Requirements:
- Proven organizational and time-management skills
- Some prior pharmacy and inventory experience is helpful but not required.
- This position does NOT need to be a certified/registered pharmacy technician.
- The Pharmacy Production Assistant will work mornings from 8 am to 1 pm Monday thru Friday.
