In this position, you will be responsible for receiving materials, recording purchase orders, and supporting the shipping department by performing various setup and operation duties, preparing and constructing foam inserts to fit and cushion any container configurations and sizes, and performing self-inspections.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person, which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Due to the requirements of the Customer, No Visa sponsorship is available.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks
- Position inventory and handle material safely and correctly
- Data collection & analysis
- Compliant with all training, quality, compliance, and safety policies, practices, and procedures
- Keeps management aware of any problems or potential problems in product quality.
- Moving material/product throughout the shop to the next location
- All other responsibilities assigned by the Manager and/or Team Lead
- Counting received items.
- Knowledge of basic machine operation and machine adjustment
- Ability to process work orders.
- Working directly with the kitting area
- Knowledge of hands-on part assembly
- Keep the area clean and neat.
- Keep equipment clean and report any problems with equipment.
- Work independently with the ability to prioritize work tasks.
- The ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, documents, correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication skills, which include verbal and written.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to multi-task, have a positive attitude, and professionally handle pressure under deadlines.
- Must have excellent attendance and be dependable.
- The ability to obtain a Hi-Lo license.
- The ability to follow FIFO.
- Ability to use a crane to unload heavy products.
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent attendance record
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or the ability to learn.
- Ability to work with hands and excellent eye/hand coordination.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
