Skillet’z Cafe is seeking a detail-oriented Expediter (Expo) to join our team and ensure that every dish leaves the kitchen perfectly prepared. As the Expo, you’ll serve as the critical link between the kitchen and dining room, checking that each order is complete, properly plated, and delivered on time. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
Requirements/Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage all orders from the kitchen, ensuring correct items, sides, and modifications are present
• Check presentation and quality of each dish before it leaves the kitchen
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion
• Coordinate with servers to deliver orders efficiently, especially during peak hours
• Organize and prioritize multiple orders, especially for large parties or special requests
• Assist with light kitchen duties or side work as needed to support the team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Expo station
Requirements:
• Previous experience as an Expediter, Server, or in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
