What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler 2nd Shift position at SkySource Solutions?
We are seeking Material Handler / Tugger Operator to join our growing fortune 500 Recycling Management team! We have openings for 2nd shift and hours are 3pm-11:30pm M-F starting at $17.56/hr. Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.
NOTE: This position is in the Honda plant in Timmonsville, SC. There are multiple businesses in this facility, in order to be considered for this position you have to be able to badge at this location. If you worked here previously, you have to had left on good terms (2 week notice with any companies there) in order to be considered to come back to this location!
Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Moves recyclable or chemical product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using forklift, pallet jack or dock loader.
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Records amounts of materials or items received and distributed.
- Maintains the equipment in a safe and clean manner and reports service requests as needed. Follows safety rules, operating instructions, and company procedures.
- May require forklift operation certification.
Shift Times and Pay:
- 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm
- $17.56/hr
Qualifications
- Proven experience in materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and distribution center operations
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with rigging and crane operations
- Background in shipping & receiving and warehouse supervision is a plus
Salary : $18 - $19
