Skyterra Young Adult is a therapeutic wellness program located in Western NC offering a unique combination of self-care, fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, and recreational programming to help young adults reach their full potential. Our Young Adult Mentors are an important part of our program and play an integral role in our guests journeys, leading our guests as they engage in a wide variety of activities.

Qualifications
- Therapeutic, Wellness, or Education experience (Preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR, First Aid and AED certifications (To be completed after hire)
- Work includes active movement around the facility in and out of doors, year-round in all weather conditions, i.e., rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
- Model and promote Skyterra’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strong role model for young adults (ages 18-29) and mentor them in developing wellness and therapeutic skills.
- Support guests during the morning and evenings in one on one and group settings.
- Communicate guest insight and info to colleagues and contribute to coordinated support for our guests.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, and peer mediation.
- Serve as the first on-site point of contact in case of an emergency during the morning, evening, and overnight - directly reporting to the Manager on Duty.
- Provide transportation to and from recreational excursions and other activities.
- Assist peers in activity supervision during hikes across NC, SC and GA, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, camping, yoga and culinary skills etc.
- Facilitate classes or projects as needed

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time positions available.
Annual Pay: $39,520- $41,600
Set shift schedule:
Shift work schedule up to 40 hours per week, Requires overnight supervision
