About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Front Office Assistant to join our team at our Columbus Main Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, entering patient orders in our EMR, managing patient records, scheduling appointments via phone and text, following up with patients via phone and text, educating patients about medical device use via phone and text, returning interpretations to ordering physicians, and creating weekly reports. All patient interaction is by phone, email, and text-patients do not come to our offices. As a Medical Front Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent attendance
- Comfort with phone and computer systems
- Type at least 50 WPM
Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more years experience with scheduling and patient related customer service
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
