Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Process EFT and payments transactions, post journal entries, and create / maintain departmental procedures.

Provide backup for daily processing tasks.

Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.

Assist internal teams with inquiries and resolve issues within established authority; escalate unresolved issues to management.

Perform special projects and other departmental duties as assigned.

Actively participate in staff training and development to maintain knowledge of credit union regulations, products, and processes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Detail-oriented with the ability to meet prescribed deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Professional work ethic and dependable attendance record.
