Overview
EndodontistOur well-established and successful specialty group practice in Finksburg, MD is growing. We are currently looking for a part-time Endodontist who can join our family of multiple referring specialists and general dentists associated with this productive practice. This is a great opportunity to treat a variety of cases in a modern setting with well-trained and experienced assistants and receptionists who have been with us for over two decades. We have a strong referral source from our general dentists associated with this wonderful practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventive care, restorative procedures, endodontics, and more.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Utilize medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in endodontics is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Epic is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care within a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.

Pay: $214,440.00 - $237,194.00 per year
