Role Overview
The Product Delivery Lead will partner closely with Product Owners, Technology Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive product vision, roadmap execution, and delivery excellence. This role blends product delivery, program management, and product management responsibilities, with a strong focus on digital banking and payments solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Delivery Management
- Collaborate with Product Owners (PO) and Technology Owners (TO) to define and capture Product Vision, Roadmap, and Backlogs
- Define and manage the Product Roadmap in JIRA (Idea β Initiative β Epic β User Story)
- Plan, facilitate, and summarize Quarterly Product Increment (PI) Planning events
- Partner with PO and TO to provide monthly progress updates for Functional Lead meetings
- Own and maintain the product backlog aligned to strategic objectives and value delivery
- Build frameworks to track product success metrics including cost, functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Program & Execution Management
- Lead and manage all aspects of project planning, including scope, schedule, budget, and financial forecasting
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and dependencies across workstreams
- Escalate and track cross-workstream impediments
- Provide resourcing recommendations to address critical delivery bottlenecks
- Monitor program execution and proactively escalate risks and issues
- Work with the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) to ensure program execution and operational excellence
- Manage time-bound regulatory compliance projects impacting critical business functions
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
- Operate within approved budgets and complete monthly Hyperion forecasts
- Provide dashboard reporting for bi-monthly Business Product Update meetings
- Ensure transparency into delivery progress, risks, and outcomes
Business Analysis & Change Management
- Drive development of business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and related artifacts
- Facilitate adoption of business process changes through structured change management
- Develop and manage training, communication, and rollout plans
- Lead integration of multiple upstream and downstream data interfaces
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Contribute to or lead vendor relationship management
- Coordinate contracts, renewals, and addenda with key project vendors
- Collaborate across business, technology, and external partner teams to ensure alignment and execution
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of project or program management experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience in digital banking products (consumer and/or business, web and/or mobile)
- Strong experience working with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- 5 years of experience with IT and/or banking operations systems
- Demonstrated expertise in systems integration and delivery management
- Strong business orientation with the ability to exercise independent judgment and strategic thinking
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
