Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department. This role assists with day‑to‑day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS transactions, recordkeeping, and compliance. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees and ensures HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Process personnel actions in the HRIS system, including pay changes, resignations, terminations, new hires, and retirements. Ensure all transactions are accurate, timely, and handled with strict confidentiality.
- Support recruitment and hiring activities, including posting requisitions in NeoGov, initiating background checks, scheduling interviews, and drafting offer letters.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing correspondence, maintaining employee files, processing HR documents, and assembling new-hire packets for bi‑weekly New Employee Orientation (NEO).
- Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and special projects as assigned by HR leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the Human Resources Department.
Requirements

Education
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience (Required)
- 3–5 years of HR experience or administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems.
Preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of HR functions and employment laws preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
