The Human Resources Generalist will be integral in supporting a range of human resource functions, which include but are not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, maintaining employee records, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local and federal laws. The successful candidate will work closely with management and staff to maintain a positive, productive workplace culture across various departments. Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
- Handle employee-related services, regulatory compliance, and employee relations management.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee employee benefit programs, ensuring they are in line with employee needs and legislative requirements.
- Conduct employee performance reviews and work with management to develop staff career paths.
- Address employee grievances and disputes, implementing disciplinary procedures where necessary.
- Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial and legal requirements.
- Prepare HR reports for management and external agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Texas employment laws and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- 2 years of HR experience; healthcare or dental experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Texas employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with HR or payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or Gusto.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and reasonable commute to Cypress, TX.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with a high attention to detail.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is required.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Salary : $28 - $33
