Role Description
The Lighting Operator is a part-time on-site role located in New York, NY. The Lighting Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining lighting equipment during performances, setting up for events, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise. They will work directly with performers and venue staff to create an engaging and visually stunning experience for audiences. Flexibility with working hours is a must, as the majority of events take place in the evenings and on weekends.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the grandMA3 Lighting Console
- Experience in lighting design and operation for live events, preferably in a music or entertainment setting
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot problems as they occur
