Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
Under general supervision, provides dental treatment and educational services for recipients in the outpatient dental clinic. Assists dentist; provides training to recipients in appropriate dental hygiene methods; provides training to staff in preventive dentistry methods and procedures; participates in the Interdisciplinary Team process to develop appropriate oral hygiene plans.
Minimum Requirements
Requires completion of two years college of dental hygiene and Illinois certificates as registered dental hygienist. Requires thorough knowledge of approved principles and practices of dental and oral hygiene.
