School RN in Manchester, NH

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled registered nurse (RN) to provide individual nursing services for a high school student with complex medical needs. This role requires strong critical care experience and the ability to deliver compassionate, attentive nursing support in a school setting.

Location: Manchester, NH

Duration: Contract for the school year (CSY)

Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 3:00 PM (includes accompanying the student during transportation between home and school)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to support a student with complex medical conditions during the school day
• Monitor and manage critical care needs, ensuring safety and well-being
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accompany the student during transportation between home and school, ensuring continuity of care
• Collaborate closely with school staff, healthcare professionals, and family members to coordinate care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and protocols
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in school nursing and critical care
• Proficiency in managing complex medical needs in pediatric or adolescent populations
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach
