This individual will play a key role in defining strategic priorities, managing enterprise data products, and leading governance frameworks that ensure accuracy, accessibility, and control of financial data assets.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Drive the vision and roadmap for enterprise-level finance data products, ensuring alignment with long-term financial goals.
- Serve as the lead architect for data governance strategy and compliance efforts, including oversight for regulatory requirements such as SOX.
- Act as a key liaison between finance, IT, business operations, and executive leadership to translate needs into actionable data solutions.
- Build and manage a cross-functional team of analysts, data specialists, and project managers focused on analytics, process improvement, and digital enablement.
- Oversee implementation of finance transformation initiatives including automation, forecasting tools, and advanced analytics capabilities such as machine learning.
- Monitor project performance, communicate progress to stakeholders, and remove roadblocks to ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives.
- Champion the development of scalable dashboards, financial models, and reporting tools to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 13 years of experience in finance, business operations, or a related analytical field.
- 6 or more years in leadership positions, ideally with exposure to team building, strategic planning, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proven experience leading major projects or transformation programs in financial services, operations, or healthcare.
- At least 5 years working with data analytics platforms, tools, and systems.
- Experience in managing project portfolios, financial forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and business performance metrics.
- Ability to mentor others while managing complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, and visualization platforms is preferred.
- Skilled in developing high-quality executive presentations and reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across a matrixed environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of balancing multiple priorities.
Preferred Education
