$1,000 Sign On Bonus!
Full-time Registered Nurse to coordinate a variety of nursing services for individuals with intellectual disabilities in group home and natural home settings in the McAllen area. This position is similar to home-health nursing, with some duties and documentation specific to meet the unique requirements of HCS (Home and Community-Based Services) or ICF/ID (Intermediate Care Facility for the Intellectually Disabled) regulations. Our program provides a rewarding job experience for anyone interested in promoting the independence of people with disabilities.
Salary: $65,000.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM
Duties include:
- On Call
- Nursing assessment
- Delegation of tasks
- Training of Direct Care Staff
- Supervision of LVN(s)
- Coordinating medication supplies and appointment
- Medical emergency management
- Over the phone triage
- General nursing quality assurance
Benefits:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Texas Driver’s License
- Clean criminal background (no barring offenses)
- No confirmation of abuse/neglect/exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
- No history of Medicaid fraud
- Computer proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook
- Strong communication and team-building skills are preferred
