Physical Therapy - Rehab Plans, organizes and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Supervises work of support personnel.
Evaluates patient upon initial encounter to assess impairment and current condition to estimate rehabilitation potential. Plans physical therapy treatment program for each patient, based on the assessment, including training in functional mobility, use of assistive devices, therapeutic exercise, balance and coordination retraining, massage, heat, and cryotherapy. Applies diagnostic and progressive muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests. Directs and aids patient in therapeutic regimen. Delegates routine care to supportive personnel as appropriate. Acts in supervisory role to ensure proper execution of tasks. Provides the necessary billing documentation for billing purposes.
Current Colorado Physical Therapy License. Three years of experience as a staff physical therapist is preferred. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation is required. Must have an available working automobile, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
