Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. Provide coordinated patient-centered clinic support related to visit-level care. Work in collaboration with the clinic's healthcare team and perform a variety of duties to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. While being able to share your positive personality by greeting patients and escorting them for treatment.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred or certified through a nationally recognized accredited program is required (AAMA, NHA, NCCT).
- Have and maintain BLS/CPR Certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.
This is a Full-Time position that is eligible for benefits. *SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for health, dental, and vision insurance.*
