We’re looking for a Practice Manager who is as passionate about people as they are about pets. This person can lead with heart, create consistency, and bring out the best in our team.
What You’ll Do
Be a Team Champion
- Build and nurture a supportive, team-focused clinic culture
- Connect departments and team members to create unity throughout the clinic
- Lead engaging and productive staff meetings that keep the team motivated
- Encourage teamwork, positivity, and accountability in daily operations
Guide and Grow Our People
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members who fit our culture
- Mentor and coach staff and supervisors to reach their full potential
- Conduct performance feedback and reviews with fairness and clarity
- Help resolve conflicts and make sure everyone feels heard and supported
- Keep the clinic compliant with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Partner with the owners to create and implement effective protocols
- Identify inefficiencies and develop solutions that improve workflow
- Balance structure and flexibility in a busy, ever-changing environment
Deliver Excellent Client Experiences
- Ensure every client leaves feeling valued, cared for, and understood
- Handle elevated client concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Lead by example in delivering consistent, compassionate service
Support Financial Health
- Oversee accounts receivable and keep financial records accurate and up to date
- Handle billing challenges, collections, and client financial agreements with tact
- Track key metrics and assist the owners in meeting growth and profitability goals
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least one year of management experience, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting
- A natural people person with strong communication and leadership skills
- Confident in creating systems, setting expectations, and holding the team accountable with fairness
- Organized, flexible, and able to stay calm in a busy clinic environment
- Able to lift 40 lbs and step in to assist the team when needed
