CDL Truck Driver
The Truck Driver is responsible for local routes and home every night in Siskiyou, Klamath, Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson Counties. They conduct pick-ups and deliveries for stores, businesses, homes, and organizations, make quality assessments of donations, and may operate a forklift and work in the warehouse. They are expected to meet specific standards of performance and conduct, including safety, productivity, attendance, and teamwork. Confidentiality and privacy compliance are also essential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform pre-trip vehicle checks and report issues promptly.

Drive a 25,000-pound truck on designated routes for deliveries and pick-ups.

Safely handle materials using various equipment.

Enter premises for pick-ups and deliveries.

Utilize maps and prepare necessary documentation.

Evaluate donations for quality and exercise judgment when rejecting subpar items.

Maintain strict quality control standards and operate departmental machinery.

Assist in client training and evaluations.

Act as a truck helper as needed.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Two years of professional CDL-A driving experience with manual transmission.

Valid Oregon CDL-A and clean driving record for the past five years.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Experience in furniture moving or material handling preferred.

Teamwork experience is desirable.

Operating a Manual Transmission Tractor.
