Job Responsibilities Include:
- Primary job will be conducting diagnostic tests as ordered by physician: OCT, Visual Field, Topography, Fundus Photography, etc.
- Documenting chief complaint, medical history, and medications
- Performing preliminary testing: lensometry, visual field, IOP, color vision, etc.
- Performing refractions
- Assisting the ophthalmologist with minor procedures
- Maintaining and calibrating ophthalmic instruments and equipment
- Stocking and cleaning exam rooms
- Cross-training to assist as both a technician and scribe
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or completion of formal ophthalmic training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude
- Flexibility with scheduling and duties
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
