What are the responsibilities and job description for the Two/Three Year Old Teacher position at Southside Christian Childcare and Preschool?
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, physical education, and other subjects as needed
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure (state-specific requirements may apply)
- Experience working with children in a tutoring, daycare, or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and instructional best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Knowledge of child welfare and the ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment
