Role
Objectives of this Role:
- Provide Administrative support within the Petroleum Products & Research Department Lubes section.
- Answer incoming client calls and maintain files. Coordinate work requests for 2 of our major clients.
- Responsible for handling all testing to include, scheduling, report and billing. Proof and validate test results.
- Use our programs to log samples in and transport samples to designated areas.
- Work with professional staff on scheduling standardized and non standardized testing.
- Create a spreadsheet to track testing completed.
- Use our programs to log samples in and transport samples to designated areas.
- Transfer/upload report data between computer systems. Review reports and approve sample information.
- Generate reports and prepare client billing.
- Handle lubricants and fuels samples. Work closely with Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Weekends are occasionally required.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 10-20 years: Experience in general clerical and administrative duties. Must be able to coordinate tasks and designate duties. Required to handle daily tasks with little to no supervision.
- Requires proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat); MS Outlook. Must have experience with basic office machines; must be detailed oriented; excellent phone communication skills are required; must work well with others.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions; be self-motivated and able to handle sensitive business information discretely. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; must have good organization skills; must be able to train / mentor peers.
- Must be able to prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work overtime.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
