What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN / LPN position at Spaulding Academy & Family Services?
LPN/RN ~ Spaulding Academy & Family Services has full time nursing opportunities with our Health Services team! Full time shifts available are:
- Saturday and Sunday (15-hour shifts) - 6:30am to 9:30pm (considered fulltime)
Spaulding is located in Northfield, NH, just off Exit 19 on I-93. We are an academic and residential facility for students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Students range from ages 4 to 21.
Duties will include:
- medication administration and monitoring
- assessments for illness and general first aid,
- temperature checks
- education to students and their families and our staff
- shared on-call responsibilities amongst the Health Services team
Requirements are:
- an active New Hampshire RN or LPN license
- pediatric/psychiatric and neurobehavioral experience is helpful
- previous experience working in an academic setting, long-term care or a pediatric medical setting is beneficial, but not required
This position qualifies for a $200 per weekend stipend in addition to shift differentials.
